Estimates, not determinations

The calculators and articles on this site are educational. They encode publicly published conversion tables and admissions rules as we understood them on the date shown on each page. The application services (OMSAS, AMCAS) and each medical school compute the numbers they actually use, and their computation is the only one that counts. Do not make course, program, or application decisions on the basis of a number from this site alone.

No affiliation

PreMed Tools is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Ontario Universities' Application Centre, the Association of American Medical Colleges, or any university, medical school, or admissions office. Names of institutions and services appear only to describe whose published rules are being discussed.

No guarantees

The site is provided as is. We make no warranty that any calculation is correct, current, or complete, that any article reflects a school's present policy, or that use of any tool or product will improve an application outcome. Rules change every cycle and sometimes mid-cycle. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the site.

Products

Paid products are sold through Gumroad and Etsy under those platforms' terms. They are study aids; the same estimate and no-guarantee language applies to them.
